Oct 31: Halloween
A couple rules of thumb: we stay away from sugary treats and gory costumes. You are welcome to send a candy-free treat (see a few here ).

Halloween schedule:
12:45-1:45 pm: class party (Students will be changing into their costumes and will be celebrating with a dance party and yogurt parfait.)
2:00: Halloween parade on basketball court
2:30: Students of the Month celebration. This month we are honoring two outstanding students: Ariana Romero and Zoe Bromley.

Nov. 7, 6pm: Lantern Walk (rescheduled) The festivities start in the multi-purpose room with a frito pie fundraiser. We will gather on the basketball court at 6pm for the walk.

This month we are working on exploring the Solar System and maps. Please text/email/send your child's street address in for our studies.

"We love snow!" exclaimed the first graders on Thursday. Please make sure your child has layers, gloves/mittens, hats, and appropriate shoes to enjoy the approaching cooler weather. According to the weather report, it's going to be another deep chill week in Taos.
