Halloween!

Lots of excitement in the air! The children have been asking about our Halloween costumes.
This year we will have a story theme. Children can be story characters (humans, superheroes, or animals) from books or family movies. Please do NOT send your child in his/her costume. Have him/her bring the costume in a bag. We will change into our costumes at school around 1:00 and will be participating in the Halloween parade.

Also, please take heart: ABSOLUTELY NO scary, gory, or violent items such as any weapon, blood, fake wounds, or masks please.
We will uphold our NO CANDY policy for Halloween. Please do not send any candy to share on Halloween or the day after. Please monitor your child’s lunch box for those days. That is where lots of candy sneaks into the class! And what to do with the candy loot? Here is a post about the Sugar Sprite .
