HOOT 12 - Holiday Edition

Dec 12: Harwood Museum field trip
Our third field trip to the Harwood Museum will focus on landscape art.
My experience has been that parents (and teachers) find the art program at the Harwood as enticing as children. You are welcome to join us on any and all of these field trips.

Our fabulous school bus is ready to go, but we also need a driver. Until we have one, we will continue to carpool.
1:10: Leaving from TISA (Please plan on being at the parking lot by 1:10.)
3:30: Leaving from the HARWOOD museum
We will leave the museum no later than 3:30pm.

Field trip checklist for your child:
provide booster seat (required by law if a child is under age 7)

make sure your child knows if s/he will be in aftercare or not
let your child know who will be picking them up

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

Dec. 16, 2:45pm: Student of the Month Celebration in our first grade room

Dec 16: Secret Santa time!

We will be gifting our books to our friends the last week before winter break. Please send in a wrapped book for your secret santa friend by this date (or any day before that date) with a gift tag.
To make it a special surprise, I ask not to have your child's name on their gift.
Thank you all who placed an order on Scholastic! If you ordered a gift on Scholastic, rest assured, the box is arriving this Wednesday and will be sent home in a sealed bag/box.
