We All Get Epic! Thank You, Donors Choose!
Thanks to Donors Choose for the equipment, and to Malcolm, Stefan and Michael for their support setting up the iPod touch devices! We now have a brand new media station running in class. We started using the station by exploring Epic! Epic! is a reading app that is now available to you all.
I created a home account for each first grade family. Please check your email for a notification. Your child will now be able to enjoy audio books and "read-to-me" books on Epic! at home on a device of your choice. It is completely free of charge.
Plus, whenever you connect your child’s home subscription our class will receive Classroom Rewards Points for FREE books and supplies.
Here is how to sign in.
Disregard the pay and redeem your offer button in your email from Epic! Books for Kids and follow these instructions -- also found at the end of the email):
Go to https://www.getepic.com/sign-in or download the app: Epic!
Click on blue button: "students and educators"
Enter class code: lle7291
Click: Go!
Next, when you click on your child's name, it will take you to their page.
Then click on the MAILBOX (bottom right) to see which books are assigned to him/her.
I noticed one consideration: students can only read at home during "school hours."
Have fun!
