Hoot 6

Congratulations to our students of the month who stand out with their attentiveness: Erica Gutierrez and Quinn Campbell.

Oct 3: Harwood Museum field trip
First field trip to Harwood Museum
Our first exciting trip to the Harwood Museum will focus on traditional colcha art and embroidery. My experience has been that parents (and teachers) find the art program at the Harwood as enticing as children. You are welcome to join us on any and all of these field trips. That's the good news! Now, for the bad news....

Unfortunately TISA is not able to provide transportation for Harwood visits yet. Our state-of-the art school bus is in the process of getting registered and to be wrapped in glorious art! But for now, will have to rely on our own "tribe" to make those amazing Harwood trips happen! The solution: carpool!

Getting TO the museum, we will be carpooling.
Please let me know (text is best, so I can remember):

  • if you are able to help with carpooling TO the museum
  • if you are able to help with carpooling FROM the museum back to TISA
  • how many children (besides yours) you have space for
  • if you have any extra boosters, and how many
  • if you plan on joining us for the museum visit and the studio activity as well

1:10: Leaving from TISA
Please plan on being at the parking lot by 1:10.
3:30: Leaving from the museum

LEAVING the museum will be no later than 3:30pm. After the field trip it is your responsibility to pick up your child or arrange for a carpool.
There are two options at the end of the field trip.
Either you can pick up on those days at the museum NO LATER than 3:30 please, OR you can arrange for a carpool back to TISA for your child to be in aftercare.
It would be helpful for me to know if your child is in aftercare or not on the day of the field trip.

Field trip checklist for your child:
bring booster seat (if needed)

make sure your child knows if s/he will be in aftercare or not
let your child know who will be picking them up

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
