Here is your 2019-20 first grade supply list. Let’s do this!

Please pay super close attention to the words “LABELED” and boys / girls buy only. It will make life much easier for all of us the first week of school and onwards.
SUPPLIES ARE DUE in the first grade room between Aug. 5 and Aug. 9. BEFORE   the first day of school please.

1 set of headphones in a Ziploc bag LABELED (These will be used a lot! Please pick an easy-to-use pair that's comfortable and durable.) Faber-Castell Beeswax Crayons in Durable Storage Case, 12 Vibrant Colors LABELED (on Amazon or at Twirl) 1  3-ring binder (size: no thicker than 1") LABELED 1 lunch box LABELED 1-2 separate snack pouch LABELED (for snacks)  1 water bottle LABELED  1 full change of clothing (including undies, socks and a washcloth LABELED in a Ziploc bag) 1 family photo LABELED 1 backpack LABELED 1 ream of copy paper 1 packet of cardstock paper (boys: color, girls: white) 1 packet of Pacon Construction Paper, 12 x 18 Inches, 50 Per Pack, Assorted (PAC103063)  on Amazon 1 small package dry-erase markers 1 two-pocket folder 1 package of #2 pencils 1 box of color pencils (girls buy only) 1 box of markers (boys  buy only) 1 package of glue sticks ( girls buy only) 1 bottle of WHITE or CLEAR Elmer’s glue (boys  buy only) 1 pack of BLANK WHITE index cards 1 box of gallon size Ziploc bags 1 SQUARE box of Kleenex tissues  1 box of granola bars to share (class has 20 kiddos) The tax-free back-to-school shopping weekend this year in NM is Aug. 2-4! DONORS CHOOSE PROJECT: How about 2 IPod touch devices for first grade?Let's power up back-to-school time with STEAM! BACK-TO-SCHOOL WORK LIST (helpers welcome Aug. 5-9):  shampooing classroom rugs refinishing table tops installing hooks in cubbies PARENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR:  Supplying drinking water (got crock and bottle) First day of school: helping to organize and label new class supplies. From mid-September: math games, literacy games, media station, office help, photographing student work for electronic portfolios, displaying student work, P.E., science lab.
