ISTATION Login Info

ISTATION is a reading and math app.
Istation is an APP, not a website. You have to load it to your device from here: or https://www.istation.com/IstationHome/TX

How to log on:
school: Taos Integrated School of the Arts / TISA
domain: TISA. (Type in TISA and a dot! Next, highlight/click Tisa in the window. Last, click the OK button at the bottom. )

student username: first 4 letters of their first name. (If your kiddo has a 3-letter first name, add their last initial as the 4th letter.)
student password: same as their username (first 4 letters of their first name).

Watch for this glitch!
When you get to the login screen (see picture below), it should show tisa.cs.nm in orange above your child's username window.
(If that code is not there, or a different code shows, your child will not be able to log in because they are not at TISA's domain.)

Install:

Install Istation by going to www.istation.com/Support.
Follow the instructions to install Istation on your home computer.
Log in to Istation using the install instructions above.
You will only need to download Istation one time. After that you will double-click the Istation icon on your computer’s desktop.

Log in:

To visit the Istation Parent Portal, go to secure.istation.com.
The first time you log in, you will be prompted to select your student's school.
Type in the school information. (This will only be done once.)
Type in your student's login information as provided by your teacher and
click Log In.

Welcome to Google Classroom!

Hi First Grade Families,

My friends, I hope you are all doing well. Thank you for inspiring each other with your learning and caring for what's most important: your health and your family!
We are ready for a new platform to continue our learning journey together!!

I ask that a grownup please help you follow these steps to join your child's very own google classroom: ONEderful 1st Grade

1. Click on the "waffle" icon in the top right corner of your computer screen. The "waffle" has all the google apps that are available to you.

2. Scroll down here until you find the "classroom" icon. It's a yellow rectangle with a human figure in a green space.

3. Click on that "classroom" icon.

4. Sign in using your own student gmail account. Not your parent's email!!!

(If you don't remember your student's gmail account, no problem. Just scroll down for that information below in green.)

5. Once you joined, you can access our first grade hub there!! (You will see the picture above and more!)

5. Please email me with a "yeah or neah" so I know you are in, or you are having issues with accessing the platform.

Each student has their own individual Google account, thanks to Stefan and Malcolm!!!

Your child's email address: first 4 letters of their first name followed by tisataos.org.

E.g. aliy@tisataos.org or zoeb@tisataos.org

password: 12345678 (the password is the same for each child)

First Zoom Special !!!!

A Virtual Studio Visit with Author/Illustrator Jenny Sue Kostecki-Shaw

I am super excited to announce that we are signed up for a Virtual Studio Visit with local children's author Jenny Sue Kostecki-Shaw!

Here is how to access the workshop:
1. go to https://zoom.us/ to set up your own FREE zoom account or download it from the app store (zoom meetings)
2. to join the Zoom Workshop on April 7, and click on the link below:

I believe the above link will only be active as the time approaches. Don't try it now.

To err on the safe side, I would suggest that you give yourself 5-10 minutes before your call is supposed to start to get oriented.
