Secret Santa Information

I have had a few thoughts to add about our Secret Santa gift exchange. Hope they help diffuse any ambiguity.
First off, do not panic if your child is not sure who s/he is gifting. I will be happy to shed light on the matter anytime. Just shoot me a text!

We wrote letters to our Secret Santas on Thursday. They were tucked into the children's backpacks (in a festive envelope) at the end of the day. The letters have information on what our interests are. We had a lot of fun with them. Hope they help you pick out books. If your child was not present at that time, no worries! They will be able to complete this activity when they return from the break.

We will be exchanging books only. The value of the book/s is suggested not to be exceeding $10. You are welcome to gift new books (from Scholastic or elsewhere) or send gently used books.  Please encourage your child to write a personal message inside the book for their friend.

We will be giving our books to our friends the last week before winter break. Please send in the books by December 16 (or any day before that date).
Please have the books gift wrapped with the receiver's name.
To make it a special surprise, I ask not to have your child's name on their gift.

Pilot list:
purchase books (if you are ordering on Scholastic go to this blog post https://1listo.blogspot.com/2019/11/secret-santa-mission-aka-christmas.html. Any trouble with that? Please shoot me a text.  Last day to order is November 24)
write a personal message in your books for your friend
  gift wrap your books
write your friend's name on the gift tag
do NOT write your name on the gift tag
send in gift books by December 16

Anything I have not covered, please let me know.
We all look forward to our Secret Santa books!
